My Bodywork Approach 🎯

A Results-Oriented Approach to Healing

With over 18 years as a movement professional and massage therapist, I offer a personalized, results-driven approach to help you move and feel better—both now and long term.

My journey began in high school with a herniated disc, followed by chronic headaches in college and SI joint pain after childbirth. These experiences taught me that real healing goes beyond relaxation—it’s about addressing root causes and restoring function through skilled, intentional touch.

What Sets This Work Apart

  • Anatomy + Movement Expertise: Deep knowledge of kinesiology and biomechanics to identify and release patterns of restriction.

  • Targeted Techniques: Myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, cupping, trigger-point work, and movement integration for lasting change.

  • Somatic Awareness: Helping you tune into your body so you can continue releasing tension beyond our sessions.

  • Mind–Body Integration: Addressing the emotional and mental stress that often fuels physical pain.

  • Empathy from Experience: I understand chronic pain firsthand and bring compassion and credibility to every session.

My Life Approach to Movement

Movement for Doing Life Well

Movement isn’t just about fitness—it’s about living well. I believe in mindful, intentional practice that helps you move better, feel stronger, and stay connected to your body at any age, through any season of life.

With over 18 years of experience in movement and bodywork, I blend Pilates, yoga, and somatic practices, all rooted in anatomy and shaped by my own journey through injury and chronic pain. Whether you're healing, adapting, or optimizing, my goal is to help you move better and more often—in the studio and in everyday life.

What Sets This Work Apart

  • Rehab & Prehab Focus: Build strength, mobility, and resilience to recover from injury—or prevent it altogether.

  • Nervous System Support: Movement that calms, grounds, and restores, especially for those managing chronic pain, fatigue, or stress.

  • Personalized Sessions: Tailored to your unique body and goals—whether you're athletic, neurodivergent, or simply want to feel better.

  • Longevity & Function: Learn how to move with alignment and awareness so you can keep doing what you love, longer.

This work isn’t about pushing through pain or chasing perfection—it’s about building strength, clarity, and confidence so you can fully show up for your body and your life.

The Results You Can Expect

  • Reduced pain & tension in areas like the low back, neck, traps, and shoulders

  • Improved posture, mobility, and movement patterns

  • Enhanced awareness of how your body holds tension—and strategies to unwind it

About Me

Originally from St. Louis, I moved to Colorado in 2003 and earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from UCCS in 2005. A personal journey through chronic low back pain and tension headaches led me to the healing power of massage therapy, Pilates, and yoga. I’ve completed over 3,000 hours of yoga teacher training since my first 200-hour certification in 2007, and in 2016, I graduated from the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy with comprehensive training in neuromuscular, medical, and therapeutic modalities.

As a licensed massage therapist for over 9 years, I specialize in Ashiatsu/barefoot deep tissue massage and have advanced certifications in neuromuscular therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy (Upledger Level 1), RockTape kinesiology taping, and IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization). I’ve also completed advanced bodywork training through Sarga Bodywork (Levels 1 & 2) and FasciAshi.

In addition to bodywork, I’m trained to teach Pilates Reformer through Polestar Pilates, a rehabilitation-focused program founded by a physical therapist. My movement work emphasizes injury recovery, neurological support (including clients with Parkinson’s), and cross-training for athletes and active individuals.

Outside the studio, I enjoy hiking, cycling, running, and swimming with my partner, Kevin. We share our home with two cats, a rescue mini Aussie, and a growing collection of houseplants.
